Marketing Manager

Job Overview

You are a creative thinker who is dynamic, proactive and passionate about excellence and performance.

You will manage marketing for two of our brands:

  • Lulu Kitololo – art goods and stationery

  • Studio Njano – our design studio delivering creative communications for movements that are transforming the world

Key Details

  • You will work remotely with the exception of a co-working day with the team, once a month in Nairobi.

  • You will have access to the shop where you are welcome to work from, if desired, and for content shooting purposes.

Key Responsibilities for lulu kitololo


Social media

  • Plan strategic content for our social media channels

  • Oversee content creation

  • Social media engagement/community management (i.e. connecting and engaging with followers, answering questions and directing people to the relevant team members as necessary) 

Email marketing + list-building

  • Produce a weekly newsletter

  • Create and implement effective list-building strategies

  • Oversee the production of opt-ins and the associated email sequences

  • Regular cleaning of our list to ensure maximum return on investment

  • Manage monthly marketing email to stockists/buyers/gifting clients (past, present and prospective)


Networking + Community building

  • Create opportunities to engage with our community (including producing activations and events, both within our shop and beyond)


Measurement, analysis and recommendations

  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly measurement, analysis and recommendations regarding all marketing activities

Key Responsibilities for STUDIO Njano


Establish our brand

Studio Njano has been operating as an independent entity since the start of 2025 and it’s time for us to tell the world. You will:

  • Devise a strategy for us to officially launch our new brand

  • This will include producing/developing our online presence (website, social media, email marketing)

  • Support our Project Manager with client outreach activities: strategising, researching and creating content to create, engage with and close leads
